Today, we’re thrilled to bring you Balance, the first fresh collection of patterns from Named Patterns in half a decade. This capsule series is crafted specifically for the spring and summer seasons, offering a blend of modern designs with classic touches.
The Aina Trousers + Culottes pattern presents two distinct options: tailored trousers featuring a gently tapered ankle-length leg, and on-trend culottes. Both versions boast a high waist, fly zipper closure, front pockets, and patch pockets at the back. The front waist is adorned with a sleek waistband, complete with a decorative button accent on the sides. Meanwhile, the back waist incorporates a relaxed elastic detail for added comfort and ease of fit. Either variation can be embellished with optional decorative topstitching.
Next up is the Kerttu Knot Dress + Skirt pattern, which offers two variations: a sundress with a front tie detail and a high-waisted skirt. Both options feature a tiered maxi-length hem and an elastic waist for flexibility. The dress boasts a deep V-neckline and a keyhole accent at the front, while the rounded back neckline is gathered with spaghetti shoulder straps. These straps can be adjusted via an opening in the back lining for a personalized fit.
The Rauha Tee + Tee Dress pattern also includes two variations: a cropped T-shirt with a boxy fit and a midi-length T-shirt dress with in-seam side pockets. Both versions showcase a unique rectangular ribbed funnel neck, dropped shoulders, and a relaxed silhouette.
For those who love outerwear, the Sirkka Hooded Jacket pattern delivers a lightweight, unlined design with a detachable hood, long sleeves, and a zipper closure. The jacket features a high collar and large patch pockets, including a side pocket and another beneath the flap. The overlapping pocket flaps with snap closures add a playful touch. Elastic cords gather the hood, hemline, and cuffs for a snug fit.
Lastly, the Taika Blouse Dress pattern offers a timeless midi-length blouse dress with half sleeves and gathered sleeve openings. This lightly fitted dress combines a V-neckline with a button closure. The curved waist seam sits just below the bust at the front, while the gathers at the bust and center back provide volume and shape to the bodice. Vertical seams along the skirt enhance the body’s natural curves.
