Four types of unqualified garments were on the "black list."

According to the relevant person in charge of the Provincial Bureau of Quality Supervision, 40 samples of children's and infants' clothing products from the three cities of Hefei, Huainan, and Suzhou were spot-checked. After testing 32 sets of products, the sampling pass rate was 80%.

"An infant's clothing fiber content is marked as 70% of bamboo fiber, and the measured value of bamboo fiber content is far below the nominal value." According to reports, the items related to human health in the children's and infants' clothing sample tests were all qualified. The unqualified projects mainly focused on the pH value, fiber content, and product label of the finished product.

"From a safety point of view, children's clothes are best not decorated, to avoid scratching the child's skin." Persons from the provincial Quality Supervision Bureau reminded parents that children's clothing labels should be cut off in time. Select specially treated clothing.

At the same time, do not buy infant clothing that is too brightly coloured so that it does not contain harmful substances such as aromatic amines. In addition, the newly purchased baby clothes can be worn after washing and can reduce its content. It is better to put it on for a week or two.
