From January to May this year, the growth rate of Hunan's textile industry is declining month by month

Since the beginning of this year, under the influence of unfavorable market conditions, differences in cotton prices at home and abroad, rising production costs, and difficulties in recruitment, Hunan's textile production and profit growth rate has been declining month by month, and downward pressure on the industry has increased.

Today, data from Hunan Textile Industry Management Office revealed to Xiaoxiang Morning Post that from January to May this year, there were 438 enterprises above designated size in the province, and the total industrial output value was 28.011 billion yuan, up 7.1% year-on-year; the sales value was 27.375 billion yuan. , year-on-year increase of 6.0%; production and marketing rate of 97.3%, industrial added value increased by 14.8%.

In May, the industrial output value was 6.381 billion yuan, up 6.0% year-on-year, and the industrial added value was up 13.3% year-on-year. Overall, from January to May, the growth rate of Hunan's textile industry production was 4.7 percentage points lower than the national level, ranking 22nd in the country and ranking fifth in the middle.

The relevant person in charge of the Hunan Textile Industry Management Office pointed out that the growth rate of the gross output value of the textile industry above the designated size in the month of May still fell slightly compared with the previous month, but compared with March and April, it has tended to be relatively flat and is expected to increase in the month of June. The speed will remain at about 6%. The total industrial output value completed in the first half of the year is expected to be around 35 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5%.
